2-1 victory for Chelsea at Old Trafford.

Chelsea toppled Manchester United from the Premier League summit with a 2-1 victory over the champions, winning at Old Trafford for the first time in five years.
Joe Cole put Chelsea ahead Saturday with a deft flick after 20 minutes and Didier Drogba got the second goal in the 79th after coming off the bench.
United substitute Federico Macheda scored two minutes later, but it couldn't prevent Chelsea going two points ahead of United in the title race.

Bad Day At The Office - Bayern 2 - United 1

The Reds looked all set to come home with a decent score draw but that all changed when, two minutes into injury time, Bayern striker Ivica Olic swept past a couple of defenders and finally beat the man who'd been a big obstacle all night, Edwin van der Sar.United had led for the majority of the match, from Wayne Rooney's lightning strike in the second minute until Franck Ribery's free-kick equaliser in the 77th. But the home side were the better side on the night and will come to Old Trafford full of confidence.

Bayern Munich vs Manchester United

Manchester United travel to Bayern Munich for Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final first leg in buoyant mood after six straight wins, with the Germans smarting after back-to-back losses.
Tuesday's match re-unites the teams that contested the 1999 Champions League final, in which United prevailed 2-1 thanks to two injury-time goals to record their only win over Bayern in Europe's premier club competition.

Jloyd Samuel own goal gifted the Reds a half-time lead, Dimitar Berbatov made certain of three big points with his first league brace for United. Darron Gibson then added a late fourth goal after coming on as a substitute.

Glove is the Secret-Rooney

Rooney has revealed that wearing gloves is the secret behind his goal glut, which is making him this season's highest goal scorer.
Wayne's become a bit superstitious about these gloves. And since he started wearing them he's been scoring plenty of headers - not something he was renowned for," The Sun quoted an Old Trafford source, as saying.

End-of-season nerves

Ferguson said: "You still get keyed up for games. It is part of it. It tells you that you still care about the game. Managers are subject to that more than anyone, that uncertainty and anxiety and apprehension about every game simply because the result is important."

Tribute To Ronaldo

After I joined, the manager asked me what number I'd like. I said 28. But Ferguson said 'No, you're going to have No. 7,' and the famous shirt was an extra source of motivation. I was forced to live up to such an honour.

Ronaldo made his team debut as a 60th-minute substitute in a 4-0 home victory over Bolton Wanderes.

Ronaldo scored his first hat trick for Manchester United in a 6–0 win against Newcastle United at Old Trafford on 12 January 2008.

Ronaldo became Manchester United's first Ballon d'OR recipient since George Best in 1968.

When Ronaldo had eventually completed his transfer to Real, he expressed his gratitude towards Ferguson for helping him develop as a player, saying, "He's been my father in sport, one of the most important factors and most influential in my career."

Overtake Liverpool in the league title

This club's all about breaking records and setting the standard, so we all want to make it four titles in a row. That would be our 19th overall. It would be a great achievement to have won the most championships in English football. -Fletcher-

Park Ji-Sung- Asian Proud

Park began his football career in his native South Korea and played for the Myongji University team before moving to Japan to play forKyoto Purple Sanga. After Park's national team manager Guus Hiddink moved back to the Netherlands to manage PSV Eindhoven, Park followed him to the Dutch side a year later. After PSV reached the semi-finals of the 2004–05 UEFA Champions League, Park's talents were recognised by Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson and he signed Park for a fee of around £4 million in July 2005. Since then, Park has played in three consecutive Premier League-winning Manchester United teams and has also won the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup. Park is able to play anywhere across the midfield and is noted for his exceptional fitness level.

*United In Great Position*

So, what a great position United are now in as the games begin to run out. It’s often said that United save their best form for the second half of the season and that has certainly happened this time. Since the nightmare at Craven Cottage before Christmas, United have won 10 Premier League games, drawn two and lost one – and that’s undoubtedly title winning form.
